What is first burn?
Your first burn refers to the first time you light your candle. We recommend keeping a candle lit for 3 hours to allow an even melt pool to form for your first burn. Allow the wax to melt until it reaches the edge of the container, this is very important as it prevents tunnelling in the future. Tunnelling refers to the candle burning downwards without reaching the edge of the container, leaving some wax unmelted.
Trim your wick!
Always trim the wick before relighting a candle to prevent excess soot and smoke from being released.
Extinguishing your candle?
Try not to blow out your candle as this creates smoke and soot to be released. Use a candle snuffer or the lid provided to suffocate the flame.
*Never leave a lit candle unattended and keep away from windows and drafts to prevent fire hazards.
Everlasting flowers
Keep away from direct sunlight/windows/drafts/humidity to prevent colour fading and shedding as they are real. Dust gently with a duster and do not water. When properly taken care of dried flowers are everlasting.
Shipping & delivery
We charge flat rate shipping $15 Australia wide. We use Australia Post and will provide a tracking number to your preferred contact method to keep you up to date on your package’s progress. However we are unable to guarantee time of delivery as this is dependent on Australia Post, please use the below estimates as a guide only.
As our products are handmade in small batches orders are sent within 2 business days of placing your order:
Shipping within metro areas: 2 - 4 business days
Shipping within regional areas: 5 - 7 business days
International shipping will be calculated at time of checkout. Shipping usually takes 14 - 20 business days. We are unable to ship floral arrangements and bouquets due to biosecurity laws.
Market pick up
If you would like to pick up your order from a market please refer to our ‘Upcoming Markets’ page to see which locations and dates are convenient for you. This option is free of charge and please contact us at least 3 days prior to the market date.
Exchanges & Refunds
We do not accept change of mind exchanges & refunds. However if you have received a faulty/broken item please contact us via email or instagram within 14 days for an exchange or refund. Please keep in mind that all products are handmade in small batches so there will be slight variations between two of the same product.
